Alex pioneer koston session

We thought that since Pioneer is going to be having some quite major ramp works in the near future and quite a lot of changes to the infamous koston block, we thought that we would film a session of alex skating just that and giving it a good send of!

Happy new year from all the gang at Riot squad, unfortunately we don’t believe in a begining and ending of days, but endless skateboarding and gnarling out so this is for all you non believers. Recently we repainted the Pioneer in St. Albans, scraped off all the dust and stickers and gave it a fresh look ready for the rebuild happening some time this year. Go have a look yourself, we’ve got some pictures but you can take better pictures with your eyes.

Among other things I’ve resolved to post on the blog more to let y’all know what we’re getting up to. Let’s discuss the ammount of money equal to £15.00. What can you buy for £15.00? A CD that you can get off the internet, a night out which wasn’t really that fun, a weeks shopping when you can biologically go without eating for 2 weeks. OR, a Riot Squad tshirt which has been clinically proven to increase your shredability by 124%. http://riotsquad.bigcartel.com/

Now if we’re talking about value for money, scroll down and you’ll find some mix tapes with real swagger, music to count money to. The yearly prediction is success, everyone’s going to succeed, you might as well kick back and crack open a twix because you’re going to be a winner.

Heres a few short vids that alex and pip have made, skating down at bay66 in a week session and a late night skate at pioneer, filmed and edited by pip.

Hope everyone that’s read the link has download that there hip-hop mix tape, got another one in the mix at the moment which should all come together in a couple of weeks. Going out tonight to Music Box in Manchester for Dub-Spot, should be quite the killer, the second night of the birthday weekender. Saw Saw 5 yesterday, was gruesome to say the least and it wrapped the 5 films up nicely, there’s just something about severed limbs that really gets my juices goin’! Hate to ruin the end but it concludes with the old closing in walls trick, a classic on all accounts. It’s my birthday on Monday, the ripe old age of 20, not looking forward to it at all, suppose it means I better grow up a bit but these green tights aren’t being hung up just yet. If anyone fancies buying me some 1210’s it’d be much apreciated. The hate for the day’s got to be sock hats, you could make 2 hats from the material and what are you using the extra space for, your dreads? I don’t think so.

I just want some snow to land on!!! Bring on the winter!
